It’s been a bit of a quieter week overall, with no seismic shifts or major debuts—but that’s not too surprising. People are still buzzing about Universal’s upcoming park in the UK and the incredible Epic Universe previews. That’s still generating waves across the theme park world (rightfully so), but we do have a solid lineup of fun updates to get into. Let’s get with it!

Disney has given us a first glimpse at the newly renovated Grand Floridian lobby, and it’s a stunning refresh of a classic. Nestled just steps away from Magic Kingdom, this resort has been charming guests since 1988 with its Victorian flair. The renovation celebrates Florida’s golden age of travel while honoring the elegance and warmth that has always defined the Grand. We can’t wait to see the finished product in person—talk about a grand entrance!

Be prepared—for something awesome! Disney has shared more about the upcoming Lion King attraction at Disneyland Paris, and it’s shaping up to be a stunning addition. From immersive African landscapes to an epic retelling of Simba’s story, this ride is expected to deliver heartfelt nostalgia with modern Disney magic. Personally? This one hits home—The Lion King was a favorite growing up, and this just might be the excuse I need to book that Paris trip.

YouTube’s Grimm Life Collective dropped a must-watch walkthrough of Dark Universe, one of Epic Universe’s most talked-about lands. You’ll get a peek inside Monsters Unchained, Frankenstein Manor, and even the vampire-themed steakhouse. The theming is rich, eerie, and dripping with gothic goodness. Definitely bookmark this one if you’re curious about Universal’s darker side.
Shoutout to @DisneyWithAshlee for this incredible shot of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom. The photo captures the ride’s sleek motion with a brilliant flare—an artistic take on one of Disney’s most futuristic coasters. I haven’t had the chance to ride it yet, but this just bumped it up a few spots on my must-do list.
With all the excitement surrounding the upcoming Universal Studios UK, we’re officially launching a special edition section just like we did for Epic Universe. Expect a hub of updates, sneak peeks, rumors, and coverage as this project develops. Be sure to bookmark the page and check back often—this is going to be a fun one to follow.
Wishing everyone a warm, joyful Easter weekend—however you choose to celebrate. Whether you’re egg-hunting, relaxing with family, or heading to the parks, may your weekend be filled with fun, magic, and maybe a few chocolate bunnies.
