BUENA PARK, Calif. — Knott’s Scary Farm is back for its 52nd terrifying season, and this year the fog rolls in heavier than ever. From September 18 through November 1, the original Halloween haunt will transform Knott’s Berry Farm into a nightmare-filled landscape of monsters, mayhem, and immersive frights that test even the bravest souls.

Two New Nightmares: The Zoo and Mary — The Haunting of Worth Home

Among the 10 mazes featured this year, two chilling new experiences are set to dominate the lineup.

The Zoo drops guests into the role of military recruits entering an abandoned zoo, only to discover a top-secret lab where the military once experimented with animals and humans in hopes of creating mutant super soldiers. The horrifying twist? The hybrids have turned on their creators, and now the compound has been overrun. Mutant soldiers prowl the dark corridors, leaving guests with no safe escape.

Meanwhile, Mary — The Haunting of Worth Home taps into the sinister roots of the Bloody Mary legend. Attendees step into the pristine home of Mary Worth, where tragedy first struck when her family mysteriously died. Jealous neighbors turned murderous, but death wasn’t the end for Mary. Rising from the grave with vengeance in her heart, Mary haunts her home with grief and fury, unleashing her wrath on all who dare to enter.

Returning Favorites and Final Goodbyes

Alongside the new additions, some fan-favorite mazes return, including Eight Fingers Nine: The Boogeyman, Widows, and Cinema Slasher. But 2025 will mark the final year for The Grimoire and Mesmer: Sideshow of the Mind, making this season the last chance to experience their twisted stories before they vanish into the fog forever.

Scare Zones and Shows: The Heart of the Fog

Beyond the mazes, Knott’s Scary Farm thrives in its atmosphere. Thick blankets of fog cover Ghost Town, the Boardwalk, and Camp Snoopy, where monsters lurk in the mist waiting to strike. Guests never know what horror might be standing just a step away.

On stage, The Hanging returns to lampoon pop culture in its signature irreverent style. The Conjurers bring illusion and dark magic to the Bird Cage Theatre, while Into the Fog: A Scary Farm Tribute Art Show offers fans a chance to celebrate the legacy and artistry of the event.

And of course, no Knott’s Scary Farm would be complete without the Halloween overlay of the classic Timber Mountain Log Ride, giving a seasonal twist to a beloved attraction.

The Legacy Continues

For over half a century, Knott’s Scary Farm has redefined what it means to be scared at a theme park. Each year it evolves, blending original stories, atmospheric design, and a relentless cast of monsters that keep fans coming back for more.

As Knott’s puts it best: “There’s nowhere to hide in Knott’s Scary Farm.”

So the only question is—will you brave the fog this year, or will the fog claim you first?
