Lagoon in Utah has announced their newest attraction — The Nutcracker! The name may surprise some, but the concept is a thrilling swing ride that combines the park’s creative theming with an exciting new experience for 2026. SeaWorld San Antonio is making waves again with Barracuda Strike, a new inverted family coaster coming in 2026! As Texas’ first coaster of this type, it’ll offer an intense yet family-friendly thrill that everyone can enjoy. Featuring dynamic turns, smooth inversions, and a sleek oceanic theme, this addition proves SeaWorld San Antonio isn’t slowing down in the thrill department anytime soon.

Reports surfaced earlier this week of a fire involving parts of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida. Universal later confirmed that the coaster was already mostly dismantled as part of an ongoing removal process, and the fire occurred during demolition work. The iconic vertical lift tower remains standing for now, but much of the structure has already been taken down. It’s truly the end of an era for one of Universal’s most recognizable coasters.

SeaWorld San Diego will soon give guests a reason to dive deeper. A newly reimagined Shark Encounter is set to open in 2026, featuring an expanded tunnel, vibrant new species, and an upgraded immersive environment. Visitors will get even closer to these ocean predators with updated lighting, modernized exhibits, and new interactive elements that make the experience more engaging than ever before.
