One of Disney’s most popular attractions is getting ready for a coast-to-coast transformation. Beginning Summer 2026, guests at both EPCOT in Walt Disney World and Disney California Adventure will experience Soarin’ Across America—a brand-new flight that showcases the breathtaking landscapes, landmarks, and spirit of the United States.
Disney fans have long adored Soarin’ for its immersive sights, sounds, and signature scents that make you feel like you’re truly flying. Now, the next chapter in this high-flying adventure takes us across America’s most iconic vistas—from towering mountain ranges and golden coastlines to vibrant cities and historic landmarks.
I had the chance to ride Soarin’ during my last visit to EPCOT, and it was a lot of fun. The sense of flight, the sweeping visuals, and those little details (yes, even the scents!) made it an experience worth doing at least once. It’s one of those attractions that truly captures the magic Disney is known for, and while I’d recommend it as a one-time must-try, it definitely leaves you with a lasting impression.
Behind the Scenes: Filming the Flight
To bring this new version to life, Walt Disney Imagineering is using helicopters and boats to capture stunning new aerial footage across more than a dozen American landmarks. These breathtaking shots will be paired with a refreshed musical score and, of course, those iconic scents that make Soarin’ an unforgettable experience.
