If you’ve driven past Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pennsylvania over the last few years, you probably noticed the colorful Cartoon Network Hotel just across the way. Well, big changes are coming: that hotel will soon be transformed into the brand-new Dutch Wonderland Inn, opening in late March 2026.

Dutch Wonderland is putting its own royal stamp on the property, bringing its park charm, characters, and playful touches into an overnight experience for families. General Manager Megan Hartman summed it up best: the inn will combine “pieces of our beloved park, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and the characters our visitors know and love.”

So, what can you expect when the inn opens? Let’s take a peek:

  • 155 family-friendly rooms and four suites designed with comfort and play in mind.
  • Pools for every season – an outdoor pool with a water slide and splash pad for summer, plus an indoor pool open year-round.
  • Character encounters with Duke the Dragon, Princess Brooke, and friends dropping in to say hello.
  • A brand-new restaurant offering a daily breakfast buffet, plus lunch and dinner options for both guests and locals.
  • An expanded arcade to keep the fun going after park hours.

The Dutch Wonderland Inn will open alongside the park’s 2026 season, and reservations are expected to go live soon. Families will even be able to bundle “Stay and Play” packages, which include overnight accommodations and up to three single-day tickets to the theme park.

For those who still want a taste of the Cartoon Network experience, the current hotel will continue to accept reservations through January 1, 2026. After that, the property begins its transformation into a fairy-tale-inspired getaway.

For Lancaster visitors, this new inn isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a way to keep the magic going long after the park gates close. Whether you’re a local family looking for a mini staycation or traveling from afar, Dutch Wonderland Inn looks ready to become a new favorite spot for memory-making.
