When Disney describes a project as historic, you know it’s going to be big — but the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World is on an entirely different scale. On March 29, 2026, Disneyland Paris officially turns the page to a bold new chapter, marked by the highly anticipated opening of World of Frozen. And if you’ve been craving a fully realized, living, breathing Arendelle, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.
This expansion doesn’t just add a land. It reshapes an entire park. Between the new Adventure Way main avenue, fresh dining, a sparkling lake, a Tangled attraction, a next-level nighttime spectacular, and multiple character experiences, Disney Adventure World is poised to double its size and ambition. But at the heart of it all is a land that promises to fulfill years of fan anticipation: the life-size Kingdom of Arendelle.

Stepping Into Arendelle for Real
Imagine cresting a hill and seeing the 118-foot North Mountain rise above the horizon, crowned by Elsa’s Ice Palace. At its base? A complete Arendelle village, built with the kind of meticulous Nordic charm only Disney Imagineering can deliver. Colorful wood façades, rosemaling details, sparkling waterways, conifer-lined pathways, and even a Fountain of Friendship — it’s all here, designed to look hand-carved and centuries old.
But this isn’t just a passive environment. Arendelle is celebrating the Snowflower Festival, and you’re invited into the middle of the festivities.
Frozen Ever After Arrives in Paris
Anchoring the village is Frozen Ever After — a brand-new version of the boat ride fans know from EPCOT, elevated with next-generation technology. Expect ultra-fluid Audio-Animatronics, immersive projections, enhanced lighting effects, and an emotional finale over Arendelle Bay complete with snowflake fireworks. And yes, you will hear the songs you’re hoping for, from Do You Want to Build a Snowman to Let It Go.
This attraction promises to blend heart, humor, and cutting-edge tech in a way that feels tailor-made for Disneyland Paris, which has long excelled at storytelling through atmosphere.
Meeting Anna, Elsa, Olaf… and a Few Surprises
At Arendelle Castle, guests can experience a Royal Encounter with Anna and Elsa, framed by an ornate Portrait Gallery filled with warm, royal details. Meanwhile, the daytime show A Celebration in Arendelle takes over the bay with Viking longships, iconic songs, and exclusive new music composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez just for Disneyland Paris.
But the most jaw-dropping reveal may be Olaf — not the puppet, not the projection, but a fully free-roaming next-generation robotic Olaf. This is Imagineering’s newest leap, and Disneyland Paris will be the first place in the world where guests can meet him on a daily basis.
And don’t forget the characters who bring Arendelle’s charm to life: Oaken with his cheerful Hoo-hoo! and a baby troll named Mossie who has already stolen the show in previews.
Eating in Arendelle: Nordic Comfort, Disney Style
Nordic Crowns Tavern brings the flavors of the north into a cozy quick-service setting filled with royal heirlooms, paintings, and handcrafted decor. Guests can create their own Nordic-inspired meal from a surprisingly deep lineup of bases, proteins, and sauces. And with frosty desserts and Nordic pastries rounding out the menu, this will likely become a new Disneyland Paris dining staple.
Nearby shops continue the thematic richness — handcrafted goods, rosemaling fashion, wooden toys, and even a village mailbox so you can post a card straight from Arendelle.
Fans will also meet Rúna, an interactive baby troll toy unique to Disneyland Paris that reacts to touch, lights up, and even acknowledges the world around it — including Anna and Elsa.
The Bigger Picture: Disney Adventure World Transforms the Resort
While World of Frozen is the dazzling centerpiece, it’s only part of a much bigger reimagining.
Adventure Way, the new avenue that ties the park together, will open with lush themed gardens, 14 new dining locations, and a romantic family attraction: Raiponce Tangled Spin. Floating lanterns, music from I See the Light, sculpted gondolas… it’s pure fairy-tale beauty.
The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, meanwhile, becomes the resort’s first in-park bar — complete with views over the lake and new Princess-themed cocktails.
Adventure Bay itself, the massive 7.5-acre lake, hosts a brand-new nighttime spectacular titled Disney Cascade of Lights, featuring a world-first aquatic drone system combined with aerial drones, fountains, projections, and a 90-piece orchestral score. If you thought Disneyland Paris’ drone shows were impressive before, this one aims to set a new global benchmark.

And the Future? It’s Already Coming
Even with all this, Disneyland Paris is already planning ahead. A new Up-inspired spinning attraction and an expansive Lion King-themed land — complete with a major water-based attraction and next-gen animatronics — are already in development.
Disney Adventure World isn’t just a refresh. It’s a relaunch.
And World of Frozen is its shining, icy crown.
