If your kids ruled the world, there would be no bedtime, dessert would come first, and family playtime would be all day, every day. While we can’t promise any ice cream for breakfast, LEGO and LEGOLAND Resorts are giving us the next best thing: the LEGO Festival—an all-new event that turns your child’s imagination into a full-blown adventure!

Kicking off May 3rd and running for six weekends across seven LEGOLAND Resorts around the globe, the LEGO Festival is the first of its kind—and it’s totally made with kids in mind. Think of it as the ultimate playdate on a massive scale, with larger-than-life LEGO builds, music, games, creativity stations, and more. Whether your little one is a builder, a dancer, or just loves to goof around, there’s a zone for that!

Here’s what makes this festival a must-do for families:

Themed Play Zones: There are five different areas for kids to explore—Music, Creativity, Dance, Gaming, and Chill Out. Each zone encourages play in its own unique way, from jamming to beats to unwinding with some relaxing LEGO builds.

Epic Welcome Moments: Right when you enter the park, you’re greeted with a personalized “I ❤️ Play” LEGO sculpture, unique to each LEGOLAND location. Kids can even help build it!

Festival Lanyards & Missions: After the welcome, kids receive their very own LEGO Festival lanyard, which becomes a badge of honor as they complete each zone.

The “Play Pact”: At the end of the day, every child is invited to make a “Play Pact”—a promise to build more, laugh louder, explore endlessly, and always keep playing. And here’s the best part: For every pact made, LEGO and Merlin Entertainments will arrange for underserved children and families to experience the magic of LEGOLAND themselves.

World Play Day: The Festival wraps up just in time for World Play Day on June 11th, a new global holiday launched by LEGO and recognized by the UN, to remind us how vital play is—for everyone.

With 49 new LEGO builds, brand-new zones, and a powerful message behind it all, the LEGO Festival isn’t just a visit to LEGOLAND—it’s an experience your family will never forget. And who knows? It might just become your new spring tradition.

So grab those bricks, clear your calendars, and get ready to play like never before.
