The all new Peacock Original reality series, The Traitor will take you to the gloomy castle deep in the remote Scottish Highland where 20 contestants gather to compete for a huge cash prize. Here are the thing, there are three contestants who will be “the traitors” where they will devise a plan to steal the prize from the other contestants known as “the faithful.”
Five-time Emmy nominee, Alan Cumming, will be the host of the new series, The Traitors. The contestants will include the 10 A-listers and America’s best game player, must compete in a series of grueling and terrifying challenges to build that cash prize up to a potential $250,000 as well the trust from the other contestants. Traitors are intent on stealing the prize and in the dark of night, they will be picking off the faithful one by one. In the meantime, the faithful must watch other contestants’ every move to try and reveal as well banish them. It’s a race against time to see who will be left to claim the prize at the end of the game where no one is really safe.
The concept of this series really intrigue me as this is something fresh that we don’t see on TV as this is a borrowed idea from the Dutch television series hence in the same name, The Traitors. I can’t wait to see what strings are pulled and the outcome of chaos.
