Regional Vice President Brock Darby has had an incredible journey at The Home Depot, starting as a part-time employee and growing into a successful 34-year career. Throughout his time with the company, Brock has utilized his fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to connect with associates, drawing from his unique perspective as a Child of a Deaf Adult (CODA).

Brock attributes his upbringing with a deaf father to shaping his values and beliefs, emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. He praises The Home Depot’s dedication to promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) as crucial for the company’s prosperity.

Under the leadership of Derek Bottoms, the chief diversity officer and vice president of associate relations, The Home Depot prioritizes creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. They understand that a variety of backgrounds and perspectives among associates strengthens the organization as a whole. By fostering respect and positivity for all individuals, The Home Depot aims to cultivate a workplace where everyone feels valued and accepted, regardless of their differences.
