Water Woes at Kings Dominion

It was an unexpected and soggy weekend for Kings Dominion, which had to close temporarily due to a water main break near the park. After a two-day closure, they officially reopened on Monday, June 23, just in time to welcome guests back. While it’s never fun to cancel plans, the park responded quickly and safely—good to see them back in action!

Universal Monsters Return to Universal Horror Unleashed

Things are getting spookier in Vegas! Universal Horror Unleashed dropped more details this week about their Universal Monsters house, which will be part of the immersive year-round horror experience. Expect to encounter legendary icons like Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, and The Mummy in dark, cinematic ways. The horror is real—and it’s closer than ever.

Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast Opening Soon at Carowinds

Carowinds is making waves—literally—with the upcoming debut of Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast in Camp Snoopy. Following the success of Snoopy’s Racing Railway, this new family ride continues to expand the kid-friendly lineup with splashy fun and plenty of Peanuts charm. A great addition for families looking to cool down this summer!

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando:
6 Houses and Counting!

We’re already more than halfway through the lineup reveal for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 (HHN 34) at Universal Orlando Resort! This past week alone, we got four brand-new original houses:

  • El Artista: A Spanish Haunting

  • Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters

  • Dolls: Let’s Play Dead

  • Grave of Flesh

Combined with the previously announced IPs, we now have six confirmed houses—just four more to go! And with how fast announcements are dropping, the rest could hit any day now.

Siren’s Curse Set to Debut at Cedar Point

We’re days away from riding the storm! Siren’s Curse, Cedar Point’s highly anticipated new coaster, officially opens June 28. Packed with airtime and striking visuals, this compact-yet-thrilling coaster is shaping up to be a fan favorite. The final installment of the Siren’s Curse Chronicles even features a test ride with Dave and Tony, giving fans a sneak peek before opening day.

SeaWorld Spectacular Kicks Off

Yes, you read that right—Universal Horror Unleashed is expanding to Chicago! While still early in the details, this will mark the second permanent horror-themed venue from Universal Destinations & Experiences. We’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this development—it’s a hauntingly good surprise for the Midwest!
