La Muerte is back—and she’s not alone.

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the third haunted house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights: MONSTRUOS 3. Continuing the legacy of its culturally rich and terrifying predecessors, Monstruos 3 delves deeper into Latin American folklore, summoning three of the most feared spirits from ancient mythologies.

Guided once again by La Muerte, the spectral host of the Monstruos series, guests will descend into a nightmarish journey where three ghostly legends come to life:

  • La Llorona – Her cries echo through the night, mourning her lost children. But her sorrow quickly turns to rage when she sets her sights on you.
  • La Muelona – With a terrifying grin full of sharp teeth, she preys on those who are unfaithful or unlucky enough to cross her path.
  • La Siguanaba – A vision of beauty from afar, but a grotesque illusion up close. Beware the shape-shifting deceiver luring travelers to their doom.

Universal is once again embracing the haunting power of folklore, using theatrical design and detailed storytelling to create an immersive cultural horror experience. Monstruos 3 promises not only to terrify, but to honor the myths passed down through generations across Latin America.

This marks the third house revealed for HHN Hollywood 2025, following the earlier announcements of a Fallout-themed house and a terrifying experience set in the Jason Universe.

The darkness is calling. La Muerte is waiting.

Stay tuned for more Halloween Horror Nights announcements as the full lineup unfolds.
