The fog is creeping in, and with it comes the chilling revelation of what’s waiting for you at Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Howl-O-Scream 2025. This year’s event promises six Terror-Tories™—intensely themed scare zones packed with roaming monsters, immersive set pieces, and fear in every direction. Whether you’re crossing a cursed village or dancing through a demonic disco, one thing is certain: there’s no safe space once the sun goes down.

Let’s dive into the newly announced Terror-Tory™ lineup, including three all-new nightmare zones you’ll have to walk through to believe.

ALL-NEW: Bavarian Bloodshed

Something sinister has taken root in this once-jovial German village. Under the ominous glow of the Blood Moon, festive beer halls have turned into hunting grounds. Cursed werewolves roam freely, and the line between villager and beast has vanished in the fog. This is no fairy tale—this is survival.

ALL-NEW: Disgrotesque

Forget glitz and glamour—this is infernal nightlife at its most unhinged. In the France village, the Mistress of Mayhem hosts an unsettling celebration where cabaret collides with chaos. With glowing skulls, haunting lights, and twisted beats, Disgrotesque is part fever dream, part nightmare… all terrifying.

ALL-NEW: Wicked Wunderland

The holidays have never been so horrifying. In this warped alpine village, snowmen leer from the shadows, garlands twist with decay, and Krampus himself may be just around the corner. If you thought winter was safe, think again—this Christmas curse is alive and well in the heart of Germany.

RETURNING: Stalker Street

In New France, fear creeps like fog between the trees. Locals hide indoors while sinister scarecrows roam the streets in search of fresh victims. This Terror-Tory™ is a haunting harvest of paranoia, where every rustle could be your end.

RETURNING: Ripper Row

Back alleys. Flickering gaslights. A cold London chill. Whitechapel is as dangerous as ever, with Jack the Ripper’s shadow stretching long across the cobblestones. One wrong turn, one startled glance, and you might find yourself part of the next unsolved case.

RETURNING: Fest-Evil

A party gone wrong in the depths of the bayou. What was once a Mardi Gras celebration has spiraled into madness, as the spirits of the swamp—tainted by malevolent forces—spill into the streets. It’s music, masks, and mayhem, and there’s no way out.

Also Confirmed: Sinister Shows Revealed

Alongside the newly expanded scare zones, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has already revealed two of this year’s four sinister shows, setting the stage for twisted theatrical thrills.

ALL-NEW: Skeletones In Your Closet

They may not be here to scare you, but the Skeletones will definitely leave a mark. These mischievous musical spirits dance their way into your room at night and vanish by morning, leaving behind nothing but a tune you can’t shake. It’s part rock concert, part haunting lullaby.

ALL-NEW: Spirit Spellabration

Don Ossario is determined to steal the spotlight—with a little help from the dead. With his loyal assistant Mortista, he attempts to awaken the spirits of his ancestors and channel their talents for a performance that could shake the spirit world itself. But magic comes at a cost… and guests may be asked to help summon what lies beyond.

Final Thoughts

With three new scare zones, three returning fan favorites, and two all-new shows, Howl-O-Scream 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most immersive and creatively daring editions yet. From twisted fairy tales to disco-fueled nightmares, every inch of Busch Gardens Williamsburg is being overtaken by horror—and we’re only just getting started.

Still to come: haunted house reveals, special tours, and the final two sinister shows. Keep checking back as we creep closer to opening night on September 5.
