If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into the bustling streets of Zootopia, your chance is finally here. Disney has announced that Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will officially debut on November 7, 2025, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This all-new 4D show will take over the Tree of Life Theater, bringing the vibrant city of Zootopia straight to Walt Disney World.

What is Zootopia: Better Zoogether!?

This immersive 4D show invites guests to celebrate Zoogether Day—a city-wide event honoring unity across all of Zootopia’s diverse biomes. The show is hosted by Heidi Howler, a slick-talking wolf with a flair for excitement (and plenty of howls).

From the Tree of Life Theater stage, you’ll watch dazzling performances:

  • An ice-skating spectacular from Tundratown
  • Synchronized swimming straight from Marsh Market
  • Tiny mouse drone shows soaring above Little Rodentia
  • And, of course, a musical finale from pop icon Gazelle

Disney Animation and Walt Disney Imagineering have teamed up to bring this story to life, with Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman returning to voice Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Filmmakers Jared Bush and Byron Howard even lent their talents to the script and animation, ensuring the experience feels authentic to the films.

Tying into Zootopia 2

The timing couldn’t be better—Zootopia 2 arrives in theaters on November 26, just weeks after the show opens. The attraction will tie directly into the new film, expanding the city’s world and characters.

Meet Judy and Nick at Discovery Island

If seeing them on-screen isn’t enough, you’ll also be able to meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in person. The duo will greet guests at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot on Discovery Island, sporting their brand-new looks from Zootopia 2. Perfect for photos, hugs, and a quick paw-shake.

Why This Fits Animal Kingdom

Adding Zootopia to Animal Kingdom makes perfect sense. At its core, the film celebrates diversity, unity, and the interconnectedness of all creatures—messages that align beautifully with Animal Kingdom’s mission. This new show provides a fun, family-friendly way to blend Disney storytelling with themes of conservation and community.

Looking Ahead

Special previews will be offered for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members later this fall. No word yet on any themed snacks or merchandise, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some pawpsicles in Discovery Island before long.

So mark your calendars, Disney fans: starting November 7, it’s time to clap your paws, click your claws, and celebrate all things Zoogether at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
