If you’ve ever wished you could experience a water park after the sun goes down, your chance is back this summer. Universal Volcano Bay Nights is returning to Universal Volcano Bay, offering a special after-hours experience inside one of the most visually stunning water theme parks in the world.
Running on select nights from May 3 through August 21, this limited-capacity event at Universal Orlando Resort gives guests a chance to enjoy the park in a more relaxed environment with shorter wait times, unique entertainment, complimentary treats, and a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.
For theme park fans, it’s a chance to see Volcano Bay in a completely different light.
Lower Wait Times for the Park’s Biggest Attractions
One of the biggest perks of Volcano Bay Nights is the limited attendance. Fewer guests means more time enjoying the attractions instead of waiting in line.
Guests will be able to ride some of the park’s most popular attractions, including the thrilling Krakatau Aqua Coaster, the heart-pounding Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and the always-entertaining TeAwa The Fearless River.
Experiencing these rides at night adds a completely different energy. The glowing volcano, tropical lighting, and cooler evening temperatures make it feel like an island party rather than a typical water park day.
Beach Bash Party and Character Meet-and-Greets
The fun doesn’t stop with the rides. Volcano Bay Nights also brings entertainment to the sandy shores of Waturi Beach.
A lively Beach Bash will take over the wave pool area with a live DJ spinning music throughout the evening. Guests can dance, relax on the sand, or simply soak in the tropical nighttime vibes while the waves roll in.
DreamWorks characters will also be stopping by for meet-and-greets, including favorites from Shrek and Madagascar. It’s a fun bonus for families and a great photo opportunity you won’t usually find during regular park hours.
Complimentary Treats and Specialty Food
Food is also part of the party.
Guests attending Volcano Bay Nights will receive complimentary snacks like Blue Raspberry Churro Bites and Garlic Parmesan-flavored popcorn during the event.
Each ticket also includes a complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup, giving guests access to more than 100 Coca-Cola beverage choices and refills throughout the evening.
Specialty food and beverage items will also be available for purchase at select locations around the park, offering even more ways to snack your way through the night.
