Cedar Point, America’s Roller Coast, is launching more than just coasters this season. Beginning June 28, 2025, guests will be able to step into the haunting world of Siren’s Curse, a brand-new immersive experience that weaves together ghostly folklore, moody coastal environments, and supernatural storytelling—all set against the backdrop of Lake Erie’s legendary shores.
The Story Behind the Siren
Set in the fictional fishing village of Blackwater Bay, Siren’s Curse tells the eerie tale of a once-thriving community mysteriously abandoned after repeated warnings of a vengeful sea spirit went ignored. Guests will wander through the remnants of the town’s docks, market, lighthouse, and wrecked vessels, uncovering the chilling backstory of a siren whose mournful song doomed those who refused to listen.
The attraction uses live performers, immersive set pieces, fog, soundscapes, and subtle visual effects to create an eerie, suspenseful journey—not quite a haunted house, but a deeply atmospheric theatrical experience.
Complementing Cedar Point’s Coaster Legacy
While Siren’s Curse adds an exciting new dimension to the park’s lineup of non-ride attractions, thrill-seekers still have plenty to look forward to this summer. Here’s a quick look at Cedar Point’s current coaster highlights:
- Top Thrill 2 – The world’s tallest and fastest triple-launch strata coaster, reaching a height of 420 feet and speeds of 120 mph.
 - Steel Vengeance – Widely considered the best hybrid coaster in the world, with a 200-foot drop, four inversions, and nearly 30 seconds of airtime.
 - Millennium Force – A giga coaster pioneer, standing 310 feet tall with speeds up to 93 mph.
 - Maverick – A twisted steel launch coaster packed with rapid transitions, tunnels, and airtime moments.
 - Valravn – North America’s tallest and fastest dive coaster with a 223-foot drop.
 - Magnum XL-200 – The original hypercoaster, offering iconic views over Lake Erie.
 - GateKeeper – A wing coaster that soars over the front gate with near-miss elements and a unique layout.

Whether you come for the coasters, the eerie tales of Siren’s Curse, or both, summer 2025 at Cedar Point promises something memorable for every kind of thrill-seeker and storyteller.
