New Second-Generation Interactive Wands
The latest collection of interactive wands isn’t just about looks—these wands do more. Available in four unique designs, they feature:
✨ Illumination effects – Watch your spells light up!
✨ Haptic feedback – Feel the magic in your hands with custom vibrations for each spell.
✨ Exclusive packaging – These wands come in a special box marked with a wand burst icon.
Each wand also includes a spell map to help you find every interactive location across Universal’s Wizarding World.
Universal Play: Your Personalized Wizarding Adventure
The magic doesn’t stop at just casting spells. With Universal Play (available in the Universal Orlando Resort App), you can take your wizarding experience even further:
🪄 Customize Your Wizard Profile – Choose your Wizard Name, Hogwarts House, Avatar, and Patronus. Your selections will even influence the effects of your spellcasting!

New & Upgraded Spellcasting Locations
Universal is adding five brand-new interactive spell locations, bringing the total to 30! Here are some of the new magical encounters:
🔮 The Duelling Club Tent (Hogsmeade) – Animate a dueling dummy and test your spellcasting skills.
📦 The Owl Post (Hogsmeade) – Try to freeze mischievous pixies as they dart around inside the shop.
🖤 Knockturn Alley Staircase (Diagon Alley) – Conjure your Patronus to defend against a lurking Dementor.
🕷️ Ariadne’s Spinners (Diagon Alley) – Cast a spell to repel spiders before they take over the shop window.
🌩️ Knockturn Alley Sky (Diagon Alley) – Control a storm in the dark alleyway with your magic.
Plus, all existing spell locations in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are getting enhanced special effects and magical spellbooks to help guide visitors.
Coming Soon: Epic Universe’s Ministry of Magic
When Universal Epic Universe opens in 2025, its Wizarding World – Ministry of Magic will feature 14 spellcasting locations! Get ready to interact with magical creatures, go on a quest for the Philosopher’s Stone, and more.
