Give Kids the World Village’s popular holiday event Night of a Million Lights will return this year in a new venue at Island H20 water park in Kissimmee. The organization has announced in August that they would not be hosting the holiday event since the resort was operating at full capacity.
The nonprofit just recently announced the event will relocate to Island H20 water park this year and run November 11th through January 1st.
The water park will be transformed into a Night of a Million Lights like a “winter wonderland” with holiday lights and display. The event will feature activities and live entertainment such as performances by dueling pianos Jingle and Jangle and a strolling a cappela group Santa’s Dancing Raindeer.

There will also be a new dancing light show on the five-story water slide. That sound pretty wicked cool! “It’s an honor to help Give Kids the World deliver happiness and hope to critically ill children and their families by hosting Central Florida’s most popular new holiday tradition at Island H2O water park,” Island H2O General Manager Jim Kunau said in a statement.
Give Kids the World launched Night of a Million Lights in 2020, while its 89-acre resort was closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event served as a fundraiser for the Kissimmee nonprofit, which provides critically ill children and their families with weeklong wish vacations at no cost.
Tickets for Night of A Million Lights are now on sale. For more information, visit Night of Million Lights Event Page.
